While everyone is invited to walk with the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage for short distances or register for one of the many events scheduled along the way, only a few young adults will make the full journey to Indianapolis—covering a total of 6,000+ miles!
We call them Perpetual Pilgrims.
We’ve highlighted a few of these bold witnesses below. Visit our website to meet all two dozen Perpetual Pilgrims, and familiarize yourself with who will be walking the route closest to you.
This Minnesota native and FOCUS missionary is excited to spend her summer traveling alongside Jesus on the St. Junipero Serra Route. She sees it as a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of the Apostles and literally follow Jesus, watch him work, and learn from him on the way.
This first-generation American is originally from Acapulco, Guerrero Mexico and now lives in Philadelphia, PA. She chose to be a Perpetual Pilgrim because she knows firsthand the power of encountering Christ in the Eucharist and wants to share that joy and healing with as many people as possible. You can meet Amayrani on the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Route.
This proud Kansas Citian (Missouri side) turned Texan is working towards a Ph.D. in experimental atomic physics. She is also a candidate for consecrated virginity lived in the world in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and is very eager to marry Jesus in the next year. You can meet MacKenzie as she travels with Jesus along the St. Juan Diego Route!
This German native discovered the fullness of the Catholic faith on a visit to the U.S. in 2019. He now lives in America and is very excited to combine his love for Jesus in the Eucharist with his love of travel and hiking as a part of the biggest Eucharistic procession in world history—the first time a group of people has walked with Jesus for such a distance since the Apostles themselves. Meet Kai on the Marian Route!
Registration is now LIVE for public events along each of the four routes. See our updated interactive map to find out what will be happening in your area, and RSVP to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime witness of faith!
