Bio:

Leslie is thrilled to join the Perpetual Pilgrims from Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from Illinois, she grew up surrounded by a large, close-knit family who helped her experience God’s love. While in college at Illinois State University, she encountered Christ’s love through the Eucharist and experienced a profound moment during adoration when God whispered the song "Niña de tus ojos" into her heart. Leslie is in her third year teaching freshman Algebra at a public high school in Phoenix. She also serves in college ministry at the Grand Canyon University Newman Center. She has been a lay apostle with the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary since 2019, receiving formation from Mother Adela Galindo and the sisters. Outside of ministry and teaching, Leslie enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, hiking, running, watching sunrises and sunsets, organizing, reading, and exploring new places in Arizona and beyond.  She is excited to share the transformative joy of the Eucharist with others during the pilgrimage and prays that through this mission many will encounter the life-changing, unique love of Christ.
