Blase lives near Sturgis, South Dakota, with his parents and seven younger siblings. He is a third-year seminarian for the Diocese of Rapid City, studying philosophy at Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona, MN. His primary duties during the pilgrimage will be spending time with Jesus and caring for the liturgical needs of the other pilgrims. He has a heart for focusing on God and service to others, which was his primary motivation for participating in the Pilgrimage this summer. He enjoys playing the accordion, fixing computers, and playing Minecraft with his siblings.
